Busy playing on my PS4. Just installed a 550mb patch and everything is working great.

So, Got home after starting the download at 11am yesterday, to still having a solid 10GB left to download (Afrisucks) on myDigital Gold Ed. which forunately contained the Day 1 patch - So I guess since it was up to date after the download of 31 Odd Gigabyte.
The download completed around 19:22, 5 minutes before the last Uplay drop last night, which allowed me some decent gaming time at least.
I also managed to get the latest 344.75 Nvidia Driver just for FC. The game is amazing! It really is just a brilliant reskinning and huge expansion for FC3 because I felt right at home with the controls and dynamic of the game. Plenty more content and a diverse setting that really brings a new kind of life to the game. The locals are a lot crazier as well, even the friendlies.
The game is absolutely beautiful, it even has a highest graphics option known as Nvidia which turns on all the bells and whistles (and then some!) it will also be the only mode that supports animated Fur.
Only gripe was when I turned SLi on. I suddenly had crushed Blacks (anything that contains the colour black is a solid black) on shadows etc making the game visually difficult to play during it's night times and cloudy instances. My fps more than doubled which was absolutely amazing though... It's supposedly has to do with the latest driver which adds SLi support (be it a little badly), if they don't fix it today, I'll roll back and use the Inspector Profile.
9/10 so Far.

I'm amazed by how little I care for FC4 right now.
I would love to get it in future; don't get me wrong, but as it stands, it's "meh" to me.
I think I will have to play-it-to-enjoy-it. Just a few months ago I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy, not it's... "When I get it, I get it".

My Day 1 patch only started at 6pm yesterday and finished at 22:00, at which point I decided to leave it for tonight (don't want to start a half-assed game session).
Then I also noticed BF4 patch and Final Stand, so that is downloading now as well...

If you're going to get this, wait a week or two for them to sort out the driver and performance issues. There is some weird stuff happening with both AMD and Nvidia cards.
Still, the game is a crapload of fun. I love Farcry

Two things; Please let me know if there is any kinda of assisted aiming (like GTA), and you willing to joll some co-op ?
(your answer to those two questions may be a deciding factor for me getting the game)

Just a warning to people thinking of playing Co-op, the game only saves for the 1st player, so if you jam co-op the party lead will gain the progress but the 2nd player will not.

really? thats odd. I am on a mediocre rig (i5 with 8GB ram) and game runs like butter on ULTRA
i guess it must be by GTX970 are you running an AMD card? apparently, game has been optimized for NVIDIA card

When most of the issues bugging this game (the really bad ones right now) are mostly sorted out - getting it then will be better.
Sometime in next year (Jan, maybe).
