Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

So I've created my char, but no EU servers?

It says I have no connection (I do) and unable to attain world list but can find JP servers no probs.

Do I just keep hitting refresh?
 
*sigh* I'm gonna roll on Odin till Moogle is open and then I'll create a new char...

Flip this sucks but I don't want to wait a week without playing for SE to open up new servers and hope Moogle opens up then...
 
Sorry guys, can I ask one more n00b question (Never been part of a MMO launch) but is it normal for the game to load so long?

I got into a queue, was 37th, jumped down to 34th before I was chucked into a loading screen for the world, it's been loading for around 10mins now. This normal?
 
Duke, the last time mine took so long to load I had to get the client files again. If there is a way to verify the files do that.

Oh God, if that's the case then I'd have to re-install the game and download the patch... No way to verify on console :/

I had to redownload as well :( I hope it fixes itself for you - can you copy the files else where and then trying to reinstall?

Isen and I encountered never ending loading screens before, but usually a restart fixes it. Did it happen just once or does it constantly happen?

Thankfully I didn't have to re-install the game, as Mal Rogh said, I just had to restart the game and I was in no problem.

Sucks that I can't join you guys on Moogle right now, but Odin is certainly a lot better than it was during the beta, more conversations going on and I have a mate on here (Luckily lol) so it's been cool so far.

Damn gold bots are spamming the chat already :rolleyes:

I don't see moogle in the below list.

Nope, Moogle is closed in-game :(

I was also excited when I saw that message but alas, it's not meant to be right now :cry:

Odin has also been locked, only like five servers are up right now...
 
Shouldn't our backup be a JP server/world, you know, for those 'whole EU/US down' situations :D don't remember ever queuing there either..
 
So it looks like my goal of becoming a Bard has died. The Duty Finder takes so long to find a game for my DPS that I just can't do it anymore. Yesterday I waited over 1hr and still didn't find a game for Tam Tara... In the beta one could find a game as a DPS pretty easily, so I thought it might carry over into launch :(.

Looks like I'm going White Mage now...
