Well...I got my Ifrit weapon this weekend at least...between moving house in the rain... :(

Now also need to get Garuda done.... Think I need to either do more casrtum and get pants and earing to replace AK gear..or just really cram AK so I can get AK chest.

We really need to get peeps up to Hydra so we can all do..that way when we clear a primal it counts...

Agreed. Doing Garuda with pugs is like bashing your head against a wall. I'd rather wait till I can do it with the guild. For now I'm just going to do AK this week to get some more DL gear.

Lemme know if U have space for me in ure AK runs, or maybe we can make our own grps.....we have enough people at this level.

Maybe we must get a guild grp going for chimera, and push all the people thru that need it...or everybody that has hit 50 and has not yet done the relic weapon quest must get their ass in gear and get to that stage. Cant remember at what stage you had to buy the weapon and materia... im sure it was after the chimera....

We should probably run all those through that need it. If money is an issue I will spot you, cuz I want to get my relic done...
 
Myself and Toryn are leveling still, but we would like to partake with you guys when we get to the appropriate levels etc.
 
Ok, can all the peeps playing with us go to our Facebook page, and post your relic quest status...and also wether you have a primal weapon, and what is the highest one you have.

We have a lot of peeps still needing at least Ifrit weapon...and I know how frustrating it can be to get it done enough til you get your drop.

Ok here is what I don't get about PVP: how can it work when casters have to stand still to cast at 2 second cast times and when melee damage occurs at the end of the animation.

I don't see how you can play anything other than a bard/archer in PVP.

There are some skills that you can use from other classes, not a lot though. Usually the skills you can use are limited to physical damage/magic damage groups. So a melee DPS can use some tank skills, a caster DPS can use a heal skill etc. The main caster DPS in the game can use some archer skills I think?
 
@ Shrike - From what I understand they are looking at having a specific set of skills for each class to be available in pvp. So look foward to see what their setup is gonna be, because I really enjoy PvP....I know a few others do as well, although seems most peeps are not fond of PvP. Latency is always the killer in pvp, unless its done in a properly controlled environment....

Btw : Gratz to Mal Rough and Gats for getting their Garuda weapons last night....with a 5 man guild grp we were able to clear it 3 times in a row before some pug tanks failed us, once half of us dc'd, logged back in eventually and still got close to dropping her. I have no doubt with am guild grp we will be able to farm the sh1t out of her til we all have her weapons. Im sure if we had to make a guild grp, we could already down her as the dps we had last night was plenty.....co-ordination makes it soooo much easier. This is actually a really easy fight.

@ Blind Faith - there are actually a LOT of skills that work cross class...if you hover your mouse over any class skill, it shows you which classes can use it...for example : Stone skin is a conjurer skill, but can be used by basically every class in the game....any job can use skills from both the classes that make up its job...and certain skills from other classes work cross class...just have a look in the actions section of all the class skills.
