Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Word of advice: if you've played the BETA, reached 16 more than once and are keen to speed up your levelling process this Phase, start with a job that shares it's zone with a mate's. Levequests are much easier to cruise through as a group or +1. As a caster, I'm not keen to level solo ... again ... Snorefest zZz! ;)

Aye! It was slow going getting my Conjurer levelled during P3... But I reckon my Thuamaturge will burn through it nicely. :D

Sorry man, I'll purge my inbox right now ;).

The PS3 client is 6.3gigs, so not much bigger than P3's and I hear this client will carry on through to early access.
 
I'm gonna start a male Miqo'te Archer tomorrow (hoping to get out of work early haha) and would be awesome to play the weekend with the same recurring group of people. Haven't yet decided on going sub yet as it looks a bit of a schlep. Does seem worth it if I can get some decent play out of it - uni with part time work can be a bother, time wise. So Moogle it is?
 
okay. so i will probably be playing this game. before reading this post i decided to play on moogle as it will be the highest populated EU server according to statistics http://i.imgur.com/nhTm07A.jpg
I'm not preording the game so i wont have early access, which is quite a bummer.
my class will probably be pugilist into monk. i like that heavy dps classes but summoner does look fun to play... but monk looks so awesome. anyway. i would love to see some you guys around. probably going to be in beta phase 4 if my line speed can just allow me to download this damn game faster. lol
 
There is currently extreme congestion and some servers are already overloaded with some becoming temporarily locked down (as was to be expected). We settled on Moogle EU, so I'd suggest creating your character as soon as possible!

Beta: Character creation is temporarily halted on following Worlds: Leviathan/Gilgamesh/Moogle/Ifrit/Durandal(LEGACY)/Tiamat/Gungnir(LEGACY)/Aegis(LEGACY)/Carbuncle/Masamune(LEGACY)/Garuda/Tonberry/Bahamut/Mandragora/Chocobo

Well then I will just have to wait and see when I get home. But I will wait then to create a char on the right server
 
I've been following FFXIV on Twitter and the majority of servers are being *temporarily* locked down. My suggestion is that no Wolves get too carried away with their levelling until we have safely gotten everyone onto one server. If some people are on Moogle and the rest cannot get in, we're going to have to collectively vote for another server. HOPEFULLY they will unlock Moogle soon and everyone else will be able to create their characters.

Sweet, Bane. I managed to get into Moogle, however, I'd rather wait until everyone IS on Moogle before I start levelling. The reason being, it'll be a big fat waste of my time to powerlevel, only to discover that I need to reroll on another server. #Patience :)

Only one hour left of work, then a battle in traffic, then me trying to log into Moogle. :D
