Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

I know, that is the sad part, but I suspect they will let people onto the servers in waves, I will check the servers for you constantly and send you a pm here (or tell me who you are on the fb page and I will msg you there as well).

Between the login issues (anything from 5mins to 40mins to log in with no login queue) and server maintenance - I didnt get much done this weekend.
 
I got 0 done, 0. To be objective about it, we cannot demand anything from SE for not being able to get in on server x, it is our choice not to play at all if you cannot get in on a server, so in a way not playing is our own fault. Not being able to play because a server is down or maintenance, that is different.

I have the client open 24/7 since Saturday morning, pressing that button over and over when I am at the computer. I have it open now while working.

Thanks for the friendly offer ;-) but I will be pressing that button many many times more, so no need to check for me.

I agree on the cannot demand anything for the maintenance, my problem was the fact that we struggled for between 5mins and an hour of constant logging in to get onto the server only to be kicked off for no reason an hour later. If there was a proper login queue (I know some people got it - I never once saw it) I would have been ok. But wasting so much time just logging in drove me nuts.

If you get the error saying the server is full without a que then you need to completely log out and back in.There are also 2 other errors but i don't remember them.One error will get thrown out when the server is down and another one if the area on the map you are in has crashed.

I think the servers with the highest traffic suffer the most,Cerberus was fine from early access Saturday until around 2am (duty quests were bugged)Had problems yesterday in the morning but i could play from 11am till late at night 11pm before the servers crashed.
 
Yoh! But the peeps are battling man... :( Hopefully everybody will eventually get onto same server.... guess having played in Beta and managing to have char created helped a lot...

This weekend was also very problematic as Wyvern said...so dont feel all alone ;)

DC you know you can do all the classes on same character? So dont really need to make many toons....

I believe the weaver are light armor, thats what I took, however only did the quest to see how crafting works...was a bit confusing lol.
 
Ahahah, I am pissing my friends off. I am the worst person to start an MMO with, I walk around clicking on everything and looking at everything. I am glad I started to play, the level of detail is just amazing.
 
What's your in-game name,Shrike?.I have to lvl my lancer and i can craft some basic gear to lvl10.

I know i can but it gets harder to lvl military classes.Lvling your second military class is already hard enough while none-military classes are pretty dependent on each other in higher lvl's.

Weaving is generally for none-military classes (increases things like Gathering and control and maybe mage military classes).Leatherworking is for both military classes and none-military classes though it's usually for light classes.

I have not done the others though,pugilist is lvl17,lancer is lvl5,carpenter is lvl5,weaver lvl10,fishing is lvl5,gold smith is lvl 5,smith is lvl4,leatherworker lvl13 and mining lvl8.all others are on 1-3lvl.
 
Well, I'm sorry about that Shrike .... I agree that you can't wait around forever. Hopefully you'll be able join us at some point in the not-so-distant future. Our Free Company, Grim Wolves <<GRIM>> has been created on Moogle. We have 13 members so far (Early Access) and will be receiving more tomorrow! Whisper:

Server transfers are going to happen mid September and I can tell you right now, there will not be any transfers allowed to high pop servers like Moogle, only off of it, not for a very long time.

Sad but true.
 
I'm also in on Moogle with my new Char.
