Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

I'll put this here.

We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Since the beginning of official service on August 27, 2013, the number of users attempting to access the game has significantly exceeded our initial estimates. While we are pleased to see support for the game reach far beyond our expectations, the servers were not prepared to handle this influx of players. As a result, our servers have been pushed beyond maximum capacity. In order to allow access to as many users as possible, we have implemented login and character creation restrictions. We understand, however, that these restrictions have greatly inconvenienced our players.

To resolve this issue, we will be performing maintenance from September 3, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. to September 4, 2013, at 3:00 a.m (PDT), for the purpose of increasing the number of available Worlds, reducing stress on the Duty Finder servers, and increasing the number of concurrent logins allowed for each server.

Because login and character creation restrictions have hindered our ability to provide quality service, all FINAL FANTASY XIV service accounts will receive an additional seven days of free play time. Furthermore, users who have yet to enter their registration codes will receive an additional seven-day trial should they register before 23:59 a.m. (PDT) on September 9, 2013. Moving forward, we will continue monitoring the servers to ensure that quality service and support are provided in a timely manner.

The additional seven days will be reflected on service accounts after maintenance has concluded on September 4, 2013, which can be confirmed by accessing the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station.(http://sqex.to/Msp)

Because i am scared something might catch fire,it's starting to make strange sounds (most likely one of the fan wires came loose again).Maybe also time to replace the air/dust filters.

I told myself that i would open it up when i add another HD but i can't find the time to buy one.

My GPU drivers also seem to crash at least once a day while playing FF:ARR,i had to turn off additional monitors.

Hmmm then you need to fix it?? :P
 
Just got my WHM job and very underwhelmed:

1. I LOST MY CONVALESENCE!! The only cross class skill that almost doubled the fun for me as a CNJ is now gone. I did not know that you lose ALL access to the war skills, only able to use the cross class skills from the casters. Now, more than ever, dungeon healing is spamming 1 skill and using another every now and then.

2. You get 1 skill new at level 30 and it doesn't change what you been doing in dungeons for 30 levels at all. Bleh

3. At 35 you get a HOT, yeay, more spam.

I am really pissed that the WHM is now the same mind numbingly boring heal spam it was up to now. Oh well, time to see what the Scholar is like.

I'm half a level away from my WHM. I did read somewhere that it was only going to be caster-cross class abilities so I've been prepping my ACN for the role.
 
There's a 1GB patch that you all might want to grab now, lest you want to wait before being able to log in tonight. :)

gives ping response times to servers....not sure how accurate it it tho....but my pings to EU are average about 78ms...which is awsome

Those pings are the ping times from the xivstatus server, not from your location.
 
1gig, will take 5 hours to download for me. Its ok, now I actually have a reason to work, make the time pass quickly ;-P
 
Will download once i get home,1gb should take around 30min-1hour to download.

Hope i will be able to play today,haven't been able to play for 2 days.
 
mine is updated and im back in :D Only took about 5 min of spamming 0 to get in. ;) Still get lotsa error 1017 though...hopefully people will move servers now to relieve some strain...

Angie make sure your teamviewer is allowed in private, work and public profile in your firewall...then you should be able to connect.
Also make sure your actually sign in at home, and add your home pc to your profile, and do same for work pc....then its super easy to see if you can connect, also easier to actually connect...just double click on home pc :) Thats how I do it.

I guessed as much.....was worth dreaming tho...last night was first time I experienced some sort of "lag" and fps was low (15) its normally around 50 fps. Was very annoying....and didint wanna chance restarting pc lol...wouldnt be able to get back in ;)
