A ton! I played the PS3 beta and the next day switched to the PC version. 1080p with high fps makes a world of difference.
 
So are there still people playing? And still on Moogle? I just started today, would be great to hook up with some other locals.
 
We are indeed still playing. At present, most of our members are taking a breather (and playing Day Z, Warframe, Starbound, and other BETAs together) and we're mostly on for raid days, BUT do come and join us on Moogle as things usually heat up again when new content is released (and SE seems to be releasing content at a steady pace.) Will bug someone when I'm online and I spot an officer. Will mostly be playing on my off-nights from WoW when I'm not raiding there.

PS: When are you guys usually online?

Quick question. Is it worth maxing one class first, or going for cross class and picking up one of the jobs as soon as possible?

And what about crafting? Start early or max a "combat" class first?

As soon as you hit 30 go for your secondary and get your job. You will only be holding yourself and others back by not doing so.
 
Just pre-ordered my PS4 copy :). I should get a early access code right? Kalahari doesn't specify anything.

Also where is the cheapest place to buy a sub?

Not sure where the cheapest place is, but Prepaidgamer has it for R335 - Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn 60-day Game Time. I actually don't think there's any other local places offering it.

When I bought time cards I bought them from AWX they were R350 for two months. Whenever I bought them I would have the code within 10mins legit.

As to early access I'm not sure. I know early access starts on Friday but I'm not sure what time... I'm upgrading my PS3 version to PS4 but I'm not sure how it will work with the client, if it goes live on Friday and only early access can log in or not?

Cool thanks. I see that Takealot has 60 day time cards for R299.
 
Gave in and grabbed a copy of steam last night. Needed something to keep me busy until Wildstar. Just too bad the steam copy is about 2gb behind on patches :/

They call it "EU" servers but it's hosted in America.. you will notice it with most games now it seems, even ESO have them going and we still play on a EU server which is still hosted in America.
 
Got the game on Friday. Took me about 12 hours to download patches though :cry:.

I'm enjoying it so far. Still feeling a bit lost at times, but getting the hang of how things work.
