Hey there. A bunch of well known computer people (Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg etc) are teaching people to learn to code here

All you gotta do is sign up, do the "puzzles" (you can skip the vids if you have a basic understanding of computer language) and get the 27 trophies. Once that's done you can claim your prize of one of the following


  • Portal 2
    [*]Fifa 13
    [*]Bejeweled 3
    [*]Plants vs Zombie
    [*]10GB storage on Dropbox
    [*]$10 Skype voucher
    [*]Sim City 4
It takes roughly an hour or so, a bit more if you watch the vids in between....still TOTALLY worth it in my opinion.

*DISCLAIMER: You need to be a US Student to do so, so everyone on the MyGaming website that qualifies to be a US student (;)), just use http://www.uswebproxy.com and then go to learn.code.org/redeemprizes and sign in to redeem your prize once you have all the trophies!

FUUUUUUUU signed it with my google + account and I can't log in through google + with the proxy fuck my life :(
 
got myself Fifa 13 and Simcity 4. luckily i have a work email and private one :) sneaky? yes. wrong? possibly. worth it? totally.

How many times must i tell you people, just use chrome + http://hola.org/ extension.

You then simply just click on the flame(top right of browser) and select the country you wish to be from. This simple browser extension bypass country restrictions like netflix, bbc and even youtube so it also works for this site.


Oh and mottamort, you a tad slow ;)

but I guess a unique thread for this might have been a better option.

The fact that I helped people with it on this thread makes me feel this thread was useful enough.

Because I sure as hell am not going to expect something like this in a "specials" section of the forum...just saying

I got it yesterday :P turns out the proxy was shit switched to another one and it worked. Thanks for the link btw will come in handy!
 
Damb, missed out of Fifa 13, I took Simcity 4 instead.

The Portal 2 and Fifa 13 keys have all been used up.
 
How long to get one game? And is it possible to get all rewards?

Edit: Nevermind, SimCity is gone :(

Still a good start for teaching the basics of programming I would say.
