You obviously haven't tried playing it.... :p

Go read the steam reviews, theres a reason they're giving this one away :)

OK, this game was released something like 20 years ago. I bought it back in the day. Super fun but realistic combat flight simulator, compared to similar stuff of the same era like Falcon 4, USAF and my all time favorite Jane's F-15 (the 300+ manual to explain the working of the radar, weapon systems etc...). Wish that someone will update it to be relevant to today's scenarios and PC hardware.

And therein lies the issue. If you buy it from steam today, you don't get the manual (so you have to figure out the keys), you dont get the 4 page quick reference, and you forced to play the game in a small window, and trying to change it crashes the game.

So the company have made no effort in their port to steam...which is a shame. I used to enjoy fighter games :)

Same here, but I have discovered online FPS since... :)

The US store gave me issues as well. I switched to the EU store, registered, placed the order, applied the code and got my key. Quick and painless.

Weirdly, it was the opposite way for me. The EU store kept telling me I had to sign in before applying the code - obviously I was signed in already. Went to the US store, slightly different sign up procedure there - had to give a US mailing address, inserted my 4 digit SA post code and it was happy (I now live in Somerville, Massachusetts as far as the SquareEnix store is concerned). Account email confirmed, and order done.

What's nice about dlh.net is that once you're registered, you seem to be able to just accumulate the free games they give away at times :)
