It's cool that MS is trying to catch up to Sony by also offering free games to subscribers, but can't they at least give away better games? Fable III is terrible, got a boxed copy for free, played it for about an hour and never touched it again, it's also really old whereas Sony is giving away much newer stuff and much more of it. ACII is good and Halo 3 (although I don't like it) is not bad either, but they are both really old as well.
I signed up for PSN+ almost a month ago and already I have downloaded X-Com Enemy Unknown, Kingdoms of Amalur, Dead or Alive 5, The Cave, LittleBigPlanet 2, LOTR War in the North on PS3 and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Sine Mora and Rayman Origins on Vita. Next month we're getting Battlefield 3, Saints Row 3 and Payday on PS3 as well as Ninja Gaiden and Unit 13 on Vita. I understand that with XLive you get to keep the game forever where with PSN you have to still be a subscriber to use it, but I really can't see why anyone would not stay a subscriber indefinitely once they sign up.
