Game suggestions for my 7yr old Nephew

Hey all.

I am wondering if anyone has got some ideas for games that my 7 year old nephew can play. Nothing too violent, also not too hard. He is very keen on gaming (will get him on my consoles sooner than later), I am just looking for things to ease him in. He will be playing on my brothers PC for now.

Mini ninjas? Haven't played it myself but I heard its quite cool for the youngins.

Braid - maybe too hard
Monkey Island remakes - maybe too hard
Plants vs. Zombies!

Doom 95 or Duke Nukem 3D... What thats what i played at 7.... :p

Kung Fu Panda or other similar Movie tie in games. The Cars racing games is also fun. Too bad no Xbox Kameo Elements of Power is fun for non gamers. Mario?

Can't wait till I can get a controller in his hand and hit come co-op action. At least that way any babysitting duty will be made so much more enjoyable! Just worried for now if he breaks something, since we all know how expensive replacing console games and their parts can be.

For those that gave proper suggestions, thanks for sure. And for those of you that felt the need for attention, well I guess you got that sorted, morons. Ahh, I love the internet and the way it empowers the feeble minded.
 
If you got a xbox 360 then street fighter and the old sega games. My brother is 5 and playing those games.
 
I have a 7 year old nephew and I started him out on the following:

Burnout - Easy to get into and actually requires that you hit everything else on the road :)
Mini Ninja's
Lego Star wars
Lego Batman - In fact the whole Lego series of games
Tomb Raider Underworld
Prince of Persia

Basically any game that is not too violent and can develop some skill in both reasoning and thought logic
