Getting emotionally attached to your character(s) / party. II
I'm almost at the end of dragon age 1, but I've developed this connection to my main character and some of the party members. Last time I've felt this connected was with my mass effect 1/2 main.
There's been other few like my mage in wow, cleric in rift, but strongest link by far was Jaheira and Viconia from baldurs gate.
However loosing Arebeth (NWN) and being not able to do anything about it really had me bit depro lol. O how have I worked out what could have been and how I might have saved her in my minds eye. Why she had fallen and justifying it.
The question again like in the original thread is do you get attached or emotionally involved with your characters? does it still happen and is this a part of immersion and escapism for you ?
( might be a tub of ice-cream for me tonight as I close the curtain on DA1
