Good RTS Titles

Great choice on Total War series. It's one of the best games from Sega. Also got a soft spot for Red Alert 2 even though that's a very old game.
 
SupCom 1 Expansion. Its stand-alone & fixed most of the SupCom1 vanilla issues. Didn't like SupCom 2.

Also, the entire Anno series.

It has all the elements required for an RTS.

I'd agree though that city building is the emphasis.
 
Some good old RTS

Some RTS games you should maybe tryout:

- CnC3
- Company of Heroes
- Supreme Commander << Time consuming
- CnC Generals << Old i know but still a classic
- World in Conflict
- Dawn of War & Dawn of War 2
- Sins of a Solar Empire
- Homeworld , Homeworld Cataclysm, Homeworld 2
- Battle for Middle Earth Series
- Stronghold

Ah stronghold.. good times!! can't wait for stronghold 3 :D
 
Also can't wait for stronghold,

but if you are a RTS fan and haven't played CoH then you are missing out massively.
