Good 'tycoon/god' games

A new game is to do with city transport is Cities in Motion. Have a look at that, the traffic jams can get hectic but I still liked it.

Evil Genius might also be worth looking at for something different. Think of it as Dungeon Keeper but with an lair/compound instead of a dungeon. :)

Loved Evil Genius. Wish they could have polished it a bit more though, quite a few bugs in it.

Also check out Startopia. It's one of those games that I play through at least once a year or so. Lots of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy type humour. Even has the narrator from the radio series in it.

Children of the Nile & Ceasar IV disappointed me. Here's to hoping they can pull their heads out of their arses. I wonder if we're going to see a kickstarter for this...

Recently bought Caesar III on a GoG special, 4 hours in and still loving it, totally worth it. Those games just suck you in and don't let go. :)

More of a question here, but I'm trying to play Afterlife. The problem is, on Win7 the tutorial just locks up, so I can't actually figure out how to play the game. Anyone here ever try playing the game and did you find a fix for it? Google isn't bringing up any solutions.

Populous: The Beginning is an interesting older game in the genre (back when Bullfrog was still... Bullfrog, and 100% less crappy).
