Google Glass Explorer Edition: what’s the fuss about?

I see lot's of people bitching that the reviews are focusing on negatives.

At this point they should.
This product is getting ready for mass consumption and the creators should be made aware of everything now.

Overall I liked what engadget had to say.
I can already see myself getting one of the first public runs.
