Grand Theft Auto V - PC

well i'm downloading it now. Will see if my pc can handle it and if it does look as great as in that vid :)
 
Hi guys,

I would like to know if anyone in Fourways JHB can copy me the GTA V steam folder. I would like to buy it on Steam but 65GB without the
updates alone would kill my 3G bill. I see it's on special at the moment.

Is it even possible to do it like that on Steam? I know it can be done on Origin but I'm not so sure about Steam.

Should be possible, i've done it plenty with other games. Steam can even pickup the files if you copy it "raw" into the correct folder and will only download the missing files etc. However not sure how the Steam version of GTA 5 works, i got the Rockstar version and it uses a different rockstar launcher. I also sat with your dilemma, and decided to buy the retail box , since it was also +-R500 at Raru , so i shaved off 55GB of the download, the update was about 10GB after the disc install.

I see BTGames got it for R600 . I believe the Steam special is still about R500 .

I'm considering that too. BT Games has it on special also but the sales clerk told me the updates alone so far is 27GB. Is this true?

If anyone can copy it for me on the media I will provide I'll even pay R200 for your time. 3G costs would be a killer.

No idea what version BT Games are selling, the version i got from Raru was 7 DVDs (7x8GB) and when i started the launcher it immediately jumped to "55GB of 63GB" ...so it was like 8-9GB update for me.

Ok thanks. I'll need to check out which version they sell.
