Hi guys.

So I got some money to upgrade and the GTX560 Ti is in my sights.
I got a small business, so I buy all my things straight from the suppliers. So I'm quoting the prices from them.

I can get the following:

Gainward Phantom GTX560 Ti 1GB - R2392.86 - 830mhz core 2 year warranty
Gainward Phantom GTX560 Ti 2GB - R3076.86 - 830mhz core 2 year warranty
MSI TwinFrozrII OC GTX560 Ti 1GB - R2392.86 - 870mhz core 2 years warranty
MSI TwinFrozrII HAWK GTX560 Ti 1GB - R2730.30 - 950mhz core 2 year warranty
Asus DirectCuII GTX560Ti 1GB - R2648.22 - 830mhz core 3 year warranty
Asus DirectCuII GTX560 Ti 1GB TOP - R2848.86 - 900mhz core 3 year warranty
Gigabyte GV-N560OC-1GI GTX560 Ti OC - R2506.86 - 900mhz core 3 year warranty

Please advise to which one you would choose and why.
Please bear in mind that money is limited and that I have R2300 cash and the rest I have to pay our of next month's xmas shopping budget.

Why does it have to be a GTX560 TI ?

Also you're suppliers are ripping you lol.
I've seen AMD 6950 2GB models for around R2500.

Quoting supplier prices on a public forum is actaully not allowed if you cared to read the T's & C's when you signed up at whatever supplier :/

My personal choice would be the Asus DirectCUII TOP(3 year). I wonder why? I do not favor any brand (look at my sig). The cooling in that thing is a beast. But if i could offer even more advice. You have the GTX460 now. Wait a little and get the upgraded GTX560 that should be coming out soon. It will be using the same 110 like the GTX570 and 580. It will also be capable of tri SLI instead of only Dual. As for the performance, i don't know yet but it should be better than the ones listed there. Its just a thought.

Recently I had a Radeon 4850 which decided to die after 2 years and now I'm selling a Radeon 4870X2 which gives me glitches in the background in certain games. I have a GTX460 TOP currently and have had no problems with Nvidia in the past. I have looked at radeon 6850, 6870 and 6950 prices but I'm not so keen on them. Send me some links of goot comparison charts and you might convert me.

If you want, maybe check out carbonite, sometimes you get guys selling their top end stuff on their for quite cheap.

I have the Asus Direct Cu GTX 460 1GB TOP at the moment and I have no cooling problems what so ever, but the price is ruining it for me a little. I didn't know that new 560's are coming out. Can you maybe post a link on the article where you read this? I just want to do my research before spending my hard earned cash.

I'll have a look when I get home. I don't know about you guys but I'm never keen on buying second hand pc hardware. I guess it's the price /Risk you pay.

HAHA. they had a special at Chaos today for a MSI GTX560 for R1899 or something like that. It was from 12H00-14H00.

That was probably just the normal GTX560 and not the Ti. I see the Ti is quite a bit faster. But if it's the best bang for buck card, I don't know.

Not sure if upgrading from the GTX460 would be totally worth it atm. I just ordered a Radeon HD 6790 (R1600) which is basically the equivalent of your card. So it's not totally out of date yet.

Here's the comparison chart I use. Also gives a good price vs performance indicator.

I have this one: MSI TwinFrozrII OC GTX560 Ti 1GB - 870mhz core 2 years warranty
Well, two of them actually in SLI now. It is standard overclocked or something plus you get software that just lets you slide to where you want to overclock it. I used to look at the performance comparisons between the different brands before I bought my card and I think the MSI was one of the top GTX560TI cards of all the brands. Perhaps do a google search just to confirm.

Wrong graphics card... he is referring to the card ranked number 10 on that comparison (hence the expensive price).
