@Nimatek and Wyvern, you both got beta access??? Sweet! :D

Also the update is way more than 1GB, I'm at 8% and it's already 700MB so the reports of 5GB looks likely.
 
I got my invite this weekend - which was a fair bit of notice, but the BWE before that I got my beta invite only a couple of days before. So they might be sending them out in batches for all we know.

We'll hope that's the case anyways.

You don't need the confirmation. If you are registered as a pre-purchase user or have a beta access key then you are already in the database of valid users and will be able to log in.

What he said, I got my key from Takealot as well.. registered my account with it and did not receive any e-mails from GW2.. and could logon into BETA without problems.
 
Will you be able to select your home again or will you default to the one you selected in the previous BWE?

Played a bit in the previous BWE, but it was mostly solo(joining random other people for events) to check things out, so I might actually rather spend some time now playing with others.

You will default to your last home again - they're not resetting us for this BWE.

Improved Chat
Communication in general has been greatly improved, as well. We’re adding the much-requested chat bubbles, as well as map chat and an updated local chat function, both of which make it easier to communicate with other players.


And seeing the new location for the map.. i hope we can move it, because not sure if i would like it in the right bottem corner.
 
OMG the changes to WvW and adding Automated PvP tournaments + Mystic Forge this BWE2 is going to be LEGEN..
