Guild Wars 2

Everything seems okay over here - although for some reason I couldn't queue any upgrades.

Shall see what's potting when I get home this afternoon :)

Regarding the story misson skipping to a higher level one for you brother, I have some bad news I'm afraid.

According to there response on this forum, the issue has been fixed but if you already have the skipped mssions there's no way back.

Hey everyone! Thank you all for reporting this issue, especially to those who provided so much detail about this bug!
This issue should be fixed as of the latest build of the game, and while we will unfortunately not be able to reset characters which have already skipped the level 30-48 story steps, any new characters should not run in to this issue.
If you DO run into this issue again, please let us know everything you can about the issue as soon as possible – what character you’re playing, what race they are, etc. – and we’ll take another look at it!

Seems they are now looking into a solution for affected players as people where rightly complaining about it.

These specifics have been extremely helpful in finding the root cause of the issue, and the design team has been hard at work on not only a fix, but a solution for those who have been affected by the bug. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by this unfortunate issue, and assure you that the designers are hard at work addressing all of the critical issues detracting from a positive game experience.
As mentioned by others already, the issue revolves around playing through the missions where you choose your order as a group. The design team is currently exploring solutions for the issue and is working towards implementing a fix as soon as possible.
In the meantime, I would encourage everyone to please keep the discussion civil and on-topic. We are actively working towards a fix and are constantly on watch for any new issues which may arise in the first few weeks of the game! =)

Hehe if you look carefully you will see Nima did post there :P

The thing is he really doesnt want to redo everything he has done so far. So he is parking that char for now and we will wait and see if they fix it or not.

Why not just keep doing the PvE and go back to the story when it has been fixed? I'm about 15 levels past my current story mission.
 
Because we are not sure if he can go to AC if he hasnt done the story first.

Side note - guild invites seems broken again

You do not need to do the story missions in order to do the dungeons, you just need to meet the level requirement, so no need to wait for the fix.
 
I've just been browsing, and it looks like the sudden and intense influx of dairy by-products wasn't my imagination - a lot of people are complaining about the sudden availability of enough butter to repel any possible meteor impacts. And enough chocolate to promote the formation of several planet-bound meteors.

Anyone remember that incident in World of Warcraft where they had that disease that spread to the beginner areas and continuously wiped out all the lowbies. I figure Guildwars is going to be the first MMO with a major cholesterol problem :D

i have something i want to ask... is it just me or are dynamic events very few and far between? i mean sure u get some that string together to make one big event, but actually finding the damn SOBs can be hard... or am i just running around the wrong areas?
I level 4 times as fast running WvW than i do in PvE and make 180% more money (rough estimate)

I've noticed that they seem to be a bit more rare in some of the higher level areas - whereas you'll see one pop up every few minutes in the starter areas. Then again, I'm not overly fussed at my pace of leveling - at the rate I'm going I probably won't hit 80 until November :)

Yeah true story... well, if i stick in WvW ill be 80 by next week :/ and thats not even making a true effort in wvw, thats just following the serg rush and attacking anything that moves
