Are you going to be joining them? :D Since me and you are both new wouldn't mind playing together. well if I can get a copy of the game soon from somebody i know... not sure if there is. need to check around :P

Oh and Necromancer looks cool, I am interested in classes that have minions similarly to the Warlock in WoW, is necromancer the right choice? Utilize different pets for different situations.

Most probably... There's no way I'm going in blind:D. I just got the client, apparently I'll need to download about a gig's worth to get it up to date.

Most of the Active SA Players roll on Aurora Glade Server :)

There are currently two big South African Guilds :

1) Southern Legion

2) Scatterlings of Africa [GWSA]

BUT,

We also have a host of other smaller, more intimate guilds which you can view here

and lastly :)

I am quite sure any one of the Guildies in either guilds will be able to help you with a copy of the client if you only ask :) (LOL I live in Benoni if it's close enough, and have given quite a few newbies copies, so shout if you need)

Haha, I'm not sure if shadow is being a good guy. If I was new to the game i'd probably have a hard time reading through the books he wrote about the game. Plus the notes you wrote on the video I linked, I'd rather just watch the video :D. I'm extremely lazy...

Benoni is a bit not tooo far distant from me, I'm by Edenvale. Anyone closer that can help out with a copy? :D

EDIT: it seems to work out cheaper buying the copy from the retails. Well besides the downloading of patches and etc.

Come talk to me in game bud! The guild I'm with has enough for the dungeon runs, fractals and some WvW. I don't know if they recruiting but I'm pretty sure if I asked them they would send you an invite. (Shadowfox been the GL)
 
Quite happy with the guild shadow made, we can come and go when we please and always have fun with events and dungeons.

Can't see myself in a massive guild, guild chat would be a nightmare. Anet realy needs to make an alliance system.

This. I was initially under the impression that we'd have this at launch.. It'd just make finding a 5th for a dungeon or fractal sooooo much easier if a few smaller guilds could have a common alliance chat. Or, you know, lfg that works.

Worked so well in GW1 no one ever used GC, we all used the alliance chat which made those UW, FoW and Deep runs much easier.

The LFG option sucks at the moment, need to re-work it a bit.
 
Once they put in the fractal update, at the end of January, we should try getting a group together so we can farm fractals a bit. I really want that backpiece :D

Yeah, the cool thing is that we can then join who ever has the highest scale, but so far I know, mine is the highest in the guild... The other crappy thing is that you only get loot based on your current scale. So it might be a lot of effort for some shit loot...
