Guild Wars 2

Trying, got it to lvl 31, and put a rifle on it, seems better than pistol/shield it had.

Took it to WvW, and I am missing the plentyful AOE of my Mesmer ... , must put some skill points up, so I can unlock an elite skill.

The power of the Engineer lies in the kit. You mustn't do your primary damage with normal weapons. Swap out kit as often as possible to stack conditions and maximize crit damage. The grenade kit offers plenty of AoE, as does the bomb kit.

The dual pistol setup is awesome to quickly stack bleeding and poison, with the quick powerful burn offered by the flame blast. The standard auto attack also does a small AoE damage, so it's great for large clusters of enemies.

Worked out how kits work, now lvl 32 ... , got to start unlocking traits, rifle seems better than pistol/pistol or pistol/shield.

A lot of playing/fiddling to do ...

Great! So you're starting to see the versatility that the class offers... Rifle might seem good now, but couple pistol/pistol with some kit options and you'll soon be an unstoppable force. IIRC the crit traits worked better with the pistols than rifles.

Oh, and there's no class easier than engineer for playing underwater. Grenades then have auto-aim!

Well it is now lvl 35, with rank 45 in WvW ...

Still a long way to go for a fully traited and skilled Engi. :)

I'm so envious right now. Leveling my Engi was some of the most fun I've had in gaming, ever. Learning all those skills and trait combinations consumed days and weeks of my life.

To you guys who play GW2, when you open a support ticket, how long do you usually wait until you get a response?

I've decided to start playing again, but due to the IP verification and my GW2 account using a terminated email address, I can't verify and update my information.

I've opened a support ticket and requested they email my new address, but I'm not sure how long I need to wait.

Well a month ago I raised a ticket to link my 2 accounts (GW 1 and GW 2 Diffrent email addresses) but had no response yet. Seeing that Hall is still broken I have not perused a response so your guess is as good as mine.

I received a response today. Account email has been updated and I'm busy downloading my updates.

From time to time.

I bought the entire Guild Wars collection last week so I'll probably be playing that for the next few months instead.

Do many My Gaming folk still play GW2? :)

Actually taking a little bit of a break at the moment - since Star Trek is releasing a new episode today I thought I'd play that for a bit before hopping back. I'm mostly waiting for new content in any case, and grinding for legendaries does bring about a little bit of fatigue :p
