Guild Wars 2

Now available on the Black Lion Trading Company, Style Hair and Total Makeover Kits, enjoy :) ^AT

Its 250 Gems for the hair. About 4+- gold for the gems.
And 350 for total makeover.

That's not bad at all - I knew they would get to it sooner or later, but price-wise it's much better than I expected. I've been wanting to tweak my Elementalist's appearance a little bit.

Now I can finally change my glow colour from red to white. :D

Isen got any good builds for the guardian for pve?
Think I want to go shield just to be different and when needed taking more damage in dungeons.

I'm not too sure, I never really use shield myself, I find focus or hammer to be more tanky. There is a trait that gives extra toughness when having a shield equipped. Besides that, I'd get altruistic healing.

A okay nvm I changed my mind again :D
Going with something that when ever I crit everyone gets might.

Hmmm thanks for that Isen, now I can play around a bit with my build

Using the greatsword and staff as well as scepter and torch/shield combo

Seriously guys. Imo, you will never be able to play a class good if you use guides to select your traits. Experiment around with stuff that suits your playstyle. That's the whole fun of having traits, making it merge with how you like to play.

Yeah I was going to say that you should just look and see what it does and then adapt it to your own playstyle. My build is a variation of one that I found, but I changed things here and there to accommodate the way I like to play.

The fun comes from experimenting. Like I really liked the Spirit weapon build, but the short duration and long cooldown made it less than optimal and just wasn't working for me.

That's an interesting build, lemme know how it works for you.

I'm not trying to insult anyone using guides, it's just that i've tried using a guide once before and it made my character so pathetically useless. Half of the time when I look at builds, I just don't see how they are going to work, most people make builds that are focused on one specific role such as pvp/pve etc. I just found that it works best for me to optimize my character based on what I do most. For instance my warrior is a full on glass cannon and even though my char can die quickly, I find it works for me, seeing as I like playing aggressive or fast paced classes.

Heh, I like the aggressive part, but I like to survive and aid my allies too.

I can't play support or tanking classes. I find it way too boring. Plus you should know yourself, even though I'm a glass cannon, I rarely down.

While I'd love to have a glass cannon build for my elementalist, it's simply not possible with the restrictions we have on the class at the moment. Even if we go max damage, we still do less damage than most of the other classes, and we sacrifice both toughness and vitality, meaning that we go down when a rabbit glances in our direction.

I'm happy with my traits at the moment, which I put together myself, I think my next point of focus should probably be my armour - I'm probably going to carry two sets for different roles. I'm kinda specced for multi-tasking at the moment.
