See my post on the previous page detailing some of the changes that has happened.

With regards to dungeons, I think that the Fractals of the Mist would be considered new content as I don't think it was available a year ago. My memory is a little foggy at the moment.

People are playing everything at the moment.

WvW, PvP, PvE and Dungeons are all being run all the time.

The game has gotten even bigger I think.

Plus they keep releasing new "Living Story" content of which then next one should be out later today. Apparently the new content is Scarlet Briar launching a full scale attack on Lions Arch. Super pumped for this event.

Take pictures of Lion's Arch while you can. Supposedly it's going to be gone tomorrow.

Or just under heavy attack, but I hope it gets destroyed. It will show that Anet cares about making significant, large-scale changes to Tyria.

There have been some new dungeons, only the atherblade one has become permanent. Then there is new WvW egdge of mists map - PvE'ers seem seem to enjoy it, and eb jumping puzzle has its own entrance

Yep - apparently LA is going to get pretty much wiped off the map - and it's not going to be a case of it'll be back the way it was when the event is over.

It looks like the ANet crew are taking steps to actually start changing the world in a more permanent way based on what happens in the Living Story. Although you'll still be able to play your Personal Story to completion somehow (especially the bits you spend in Lion's Arch), but I have no idea how they're going to make that work. Probably some sort of instancing system.

I'm pretty excited to see what the next season of the LS is going to bring, seeing how they are ending season 1.

Kinda like LA the way it is - but we will see what happens to it ...
Me too.

I really hope that they don't decided to make it permanent, although I can't imagine how that would work.

Maybe AreaNet secretly built another little hub like town that can act as a replacement.

That's awesome then. It shows a lot of dedication and commitment on their part.

I suspect one of the reasons they want to get rid of LA might be because it's become too much of a hub and most people aren't making use of the other cities. On a busy night there might be 20-30 people in Divinity's Reach, but pretty much every night you get popped into the overflow server when you try to go to LA.

That's just speculation on my part, but with how Anet wants people to explore all the content available, I wouldn't be surprised if this is their intention. I mean, I don't think I've ever even been to the Sylvari city and I've been playing for a year and a half.

Oh, well see, I didn't even know that. :p

I wonder what's going to happen to the Lion's Arch completion, though? Maybe I should go fully explore the place before the new update lands, just in case.

I would guess that the normal waypoints, vistas and points-of-interest would still be available, except that you might need to fight to get to them? Pure speculation on my part. For all I know LA will stay as is, but just look very battered. But then again, ANet mentioned that most of the hub services (crafting, market etc) would be relocated to the Vigil Keep in Gendarran Fields. They didn't mention the Mystic Forge, but I would assume it's included, otherwise you'll have to trek to WvW to play the lotto.

So, anyone had the chance to play yet? What's LA like?
There's fire everywhere, a lot of enemies and events.

I'd actually say that its very similar to a dungeon like area.

But so much fun, already started working on the new unique back piece that was added for this content.

Just need one or two more things before I can upgrade it to the Exotic version:D
