I probably will be but bear in mind that there is going to be MASSIVE strains on the servers so don't expect sure download speeds. I hope i can download while playing something else.
 
I just hope that my copy will actually arrive today, sapo website says its still stuck in cape town :(

For those of you that do not yet own OSDT - Musica has it on special for R299.

Got me a copy of the original Halo 3, cant wait to try it out.
 
Played a bit this morning. DMR = win. Armorlock = fail, or I just don't know how to properly employ it. Gameplay is tight and fast.

Plays like Halo. Visuals are decent, but not amazing.
 
My Download finished somewhere in the middle of the night, will be jamming tonight when i get home, can't wait.
 
What really blows is how u have to be in ODST while it downloads and ur controller cant even go off else download stops.
 
I've got a 384 line - but there are other peeps in the house using the line during the day. I've had to make peace with the fact that I'll only be able to try it out tomorrow morning even though I'm burning to try it right away.

Its gonna be awesome.

Thats stupid, arent xbox controllers designed to automatically switch when not used for a certain amount of time?

Actually you can. I switched the console off whilst it was downloading. Removed the disc, booted into the XNA and it continued downloading.

Mine did. I started download and switched off Controller since i knew it was going to be a while. Then noticed it says "Download Stopped". I just plugged it in and left it. Download finished with no issues.
 
Oh. No, that's not because you switched off the controller, it's because you hit the Guide button. Some active downloads are funny about that for some reason (if "Continue" is greyed out, hitting the Guide button will pause your download, basically).

Oh well luckily it was just at 1% when it stopped. I plugged the controller in and let it download. I cant wait to get home and play some.
 
If you stop - or even cancel, for that matter - a download on your Xbox, you don't lose whatever's downloaded up to that point. It'll simply resume from that point when you start it up again.
 
Had a couple of Fun games, even one with Azi. For a beta its pretty impressive, problem with Matchmaking in Free for All is that everybody only wants to play Head Hunter which is ZOMG Awesome as Azi said.
