Here are some Bulletstorm reviews

Dude, it looks awesome. What doesn't appeal to you?

Its brainless... thats the only reason i can verbalize. The entire pre-launch ad campaign pissed me off and even the demo showed exactly how mindless it was going to be. Im all for violence but I prefer my violence be directed in a general direction and have some purpose to it. This game seems to be aimed squarely at a section of the the populace i despise with everything in me...

EDIT: Dude you remember when we tried playing Borderlands after finishing it... it was just bland. This is going to be the same, its going to be brilliant the first 50 times you shoot the guy in the nuts then its going to become trivial. Oversaturation, yes it has cool mechanics but after 8 hours of the same thing its going to get old. They have built this game from the ground up to be about 1 thing, over the top, rude violence. Borderlands built its entire game around the infinite number of guns you can collect. We have seen it time and time again, you can't build an entire game around a single mechanic, it just doesn't work.

Not you too.... /sigh!

Yip thats me, looking to crush dreams of juvenile, senseless, brainless, violence under the heel of my logic.

Not all games have to be serous business

I was not a fan of borderlands. That game felt like a grind to me.

No they don't. But a single selling point leads to oversaturation. Why did Boderlands feel like a grind? Coz you had to keep getting new and better guns. The skill points in BS (see even the title says it all :p) are used to buy and upgrade weapons so ur going to be grinding to get better equipment.

Its going to be huge for the first 2 weeks post launch but then its going to fade into the background.

Exactly man, KAMAAN!

This is the exact same problem people have with DNF. "Oh, look at the level design, it's not good enough" or "look at the story, it's not realistic"... Wtf people? Yes, I am an FPS junkie, I am a People can Fly fan and yes I like new ideas, so all I can say is- haters will hate, but I'm going to have one hell of a time playing this badboy!

What other games have people can fly done? I loved painkiller(had awesome music btw!)

Until you get bored and need ur next fix....

This at least has top quality presentation and gameplay... DNF doesn't even have that.

Dude, this game clearly is not aimed at being a in depth, deep game. I think the whole point is to be a over the top mindless shooter, which I like about it. Sometimes you wanna get away from the serious shit for a 5 minutes and just shoot the crap out of things. This looks like that game. The co-op MP also looks good. It may not be SP co-op but looks awesome never the less.

With regard to Borderlands, I still love that game. I started the GOTY on PC, and if it wasn't PC I would probably still be playing it.

I dunno, I just think this game looks epic. Maybe not game of the year epic, but epic never the less :p

I only remember the Painkiller games. Gears of War 1 is on their website, dunno if they made it though? Anyway, I LOVED Painkiller. Damn, I spent soooo many hours on that game just impaling monsters, it was amazing. One of my most memorable games in the fun factor.

Nah dude, lol. I know my taste by now :D And as Grim says, sometimes you need to get away from the serious s**t for a while. This game is bad-ass and looks like exactly the kind of fun I like to have every now and again. And don't get me started on DNF.

Funny, it's the very overbearing stupidity of the game that really appeals to me.

Haha I think for me as well :p

Sometimes you have to come down to a certain level to appreciate enjoy things for what they are.

I am predicting this will bring some decent hours of mindless, engrossing play.

It is nice just to turn off the brain now and then.

I spent hours and hours of my life playing painkiller. Loved the setting and the creepy vibe.
The music was awesome. And the monsters where a pleasure to kill.

I liked the monks and the soldiers:p The soldiers were fun to blow up and the monks were fun to use your shotgun and watch them fly.

on topic,we should have comps(no prizes just fun)who can score the most points on certain stages:p If they tally your score at the end of each level.

I think Omega deals with idiots on a daily bases. So he looks to his games to challenge him to keep thinking. Having to bring himself down the a brainless level may not = fun for him.
