31 years ago with a bootleg casette.

Does the game look familiar to any of you? ;-)

I rather like the modern version more.

I remember playing TV games in a house which we moved out of at the end of 1987 on something like this

and also something like this

And there was something that looked like a chunky keyboard with a tape deck (games were stored on cassette tapes back then), which may have been a ZX Spectrum or a Commodore 64, can't remember now though. Those games were mostly text based though.

So I would say, it's probably about 30 years that I've been gaming...

I had a commodore 64 with tape drive - envied those with floppy! Best games I owned on there was 'V', Thunder Cats and 'can't remember the name...noooo!!' Had several ZX Spectrums. Played Atari at my cousin's house. Owned that second picture console - I think it was a Mattel product. I liked the circle dial for steering (boats, racing) and the different cards you slotted over the controller for the different games. Played lots in the arcades and got lots of hidings because of it (wasting my pocket money, not doing homework and play games - that is why my dad got me the Commodore 64 - to keep me out of the arcades) Anyway...30 odd years :wtf:

I can't remember for sure at what age I began, but it was definitely early 90's with NES and Mario etc. If I assume I was around 4 or 5 when I started I've been gaming 21 years. My real love only began with the release of the PS1 though.

YEARS!!! hahahaha, as a guess close to 25 years, and I am still a nOOb.

First "TV" games was one of those 4-in-1 cartridge type games. Then came PC games on a family friends 386DX (Supaplex, Duken Nukem II, Dune 2, Sim City), then we got our own 486SX with got an overdrive upgrade, then a Pentium 120Mhz.

I got my 1st PC the year after school for helping my Dad's company install a 10BaseT network. A Pentium 166MHz MMX with 16Mb RAM if I remember correctly. The rest is almost forgotten because lack of sleep due to gaming into the wee hours of the morning.
