Ok guys im thinking of selling my new gaming rig. Ive recently come down with upgrade madness...I can't stop..lol!!
She's not complete but will be a serious gaming machine when she's done!!
I was planning on sliding a 4870x2 in her but ive decided to run that in my next rig.

Here are her specs:

How much should I sell it for?
Im thinking of selling it on E Bay.

I'm in serious need of an upgrade... I'm still running an AMD 3000+ with 2gb ddr400, 8600gt and a crappy case. The only thing orsm about my pc is my 32" (tv) main hdtv monitor :D

Let me know what price you want to let that rig go for ...

LOL that's why I started this thread mate..to get an idea of how much I should sell it for. Once ive made up my mind ect, i'll pm you!!
 
Yeah, put a price to it you noob :p What do they say, take the price of every component new and half it or third it or something, and that's what you're likely to get for it.

I think that's pretty fair...

I was keen to get a E7400 with the lanboy case etc. ... but I've been _SO_ out of date with the hardware of late. :/

I don't wanna put a price down cause it'll be to high, I know myself!!
I put a lot of work into it.
E7400 2,8ghz dual core is pretty good but we've been moving into the realm of the quad core for some time now. So rather go for a quad core.

thanks, yeh this is what I'm hearing ... apparently E8400's are doing well. I've always been an AMD fan, but they simply need too much cooling atm.

I'll need to do proper research to get the right board et al.

Do you have a pic of the case? Or an URL ?

My cpu is currently in idle and its running at 32c. Under full load it reaches about 45c
All on air cooling. So its brilliant!!
 
Nice case on that rig man. I'm a little hesitant to throw out prices because selling second hand can be a tricky story. Prices plummet the moment an electronic items are used. It all depends also on how old everything is and if they are still under warranty.

hehe, I had a feeling it might be ;)

And like you said, you put a lot of time and effort into it, although it doesn't really add value, it does count for something.

In the end, if you are patient enough, you will get a satisfactory price.

I sell virtual items much better :D
 
Everything is under warranty mate. Ive only had the pc in its current state for around 3 weeks. Think of it like this..If you walked into a shop and you had to buy this rig as is how much would it set you back? My pc is in a much higher league than this piece of crap.
