I won't buy Battlefield Hardline at launch, and neither should you

You can generally pre-download before release. At worse I have to wait for it to download overnight.

I prefer to get a game after release; read reviews and get a basic analysis of the game.

After which I still prefer to get a hard copy, it's always quickest to install from the disc and and download any necessary patches or updates, than to download a huge file.

This is why I want to buy a physical copy of Bf4; install the base game from the disc and any patches to be downloaded.

After playing a bit more of the beta i must say i will get this only the loadout bugs me a bit, it's some getting used to when you have spent so much time on BF4. the game runs smoother and loading times as i previously said is way better i think one of the hardest classes to start on will be the professional as you start with a kak scope on a decent gun. but i'm a natural sniper so i gues i'll grind the kills on it to get the first decent scope on it then i'll snipe the kak out of everything again :p hope there will be HC servers

I think this game is gonna be pretty good and it is in EA best interests that it has a smooth launch after the balls up that was BF4.

I also Love the Scope! I think you start with a scout if i remember correctly! If the game wasn't so damn expensive then i would buy it without thinking twice! But just didn't wow my socks off, so i am sure i will survive without it

I'm considering buying it after playing the beta but only after a price drop or 2.
The game is solid as hell. Muuuuch smoother than BF4. And the game itself is proper fun.
However, it still feels and looks like a BF4 mod... which is why I can't pay blady $60 for that, no ways.

You obviously do not play enough bf4 to still say that it feels like a mod. It may look like bf4 in ways, but it does NOT feel like a mod.

I tend to agree, it definitely is better but more like an expansion, I most certainly won't pay full price!

Ok, but come release day and you see all your bf friends playing it... You will regret not paying for it :p

Nope I am in the uk. so I don't even play with my buddies in sa anymore bec of ping.
Tried it for a few hours just didn't like it.

Dude it definitely feels like a mod.

Having over 600 hours in BF4 now and when I jumped over to the BFH beta, it instantly felt like a R200 filler game until BF5 comes out.

Not even close to R700
