If you could have any mouse and keyboard?

i would recommend the Razer lycosa. It doesnt have the extra's to the left but it is an great keyboard and looks very nice. As for a mouse, you can certainly not go wrong with a Mamba.

If you want something different and special, look at the following:

Corsair M60

Corsair K90

Weird looking mouse/keyboard I go for the looks of gear before the practically reasons

I have the Logitech G9 and G15, great combo but they both are now starting to give in (5+ years old). The mouse is starting to double click on its own and the keyboard's back lighting is starting to flicker.

Im looking to the get the Rat 7 and the Cyborg Keyboard..... but alas, dont have the money now :(

All these people going for that cyborg keyboard? Have you actually tried it in real life?

That keyboard is not anything close to good. The mouse yes but that KB is terrible. The flimzy touch buttons at the top will not last past the first year of operation. This was also said in EVERY SINGLE REVIEW that has been made about it. IT is also a massive keyboard that dwarfs the logitech range and the Logitech range is already too big. IF you go to a lan with the V7 Cyborg you will have less space to move your mouse around :D

Soz i see stuffz from a competitive aspect. Long gone are the days to go to a lan to have fun :D haha

Not that I share the motivation of Cranky on WHY the Cyborg Keyboard is not ideal, but I do tend to agree
I have two of them and tbh I'm a little disappointed with them overall
The top range buttons are less responsive than I would have liked and as mentioned coated by a rather flimsy piece of resistant coating
Lighting is not the best I've seen to date and tactile feedback is hard, combined with the normal profile key set and overall you have a keyboard that would have been an excellent buy at a lower price but that is not compatible currently to the Razer Line

Good to know thanks, was considering this KB for my next upgrade, I think I will pass.

Rather go with a Razer Grim, I can't understand how they could get the mice SO right and the keyboards SO wrong

Mmmm Razer... I think I have shared my thoughts about them in the past.
Razer high end stuff tends to be awesome, but their mid range and lower end stuff is shit, no better word for it.

Yeah it does seem a little bizzare. Their mice are great quality.

Which Razer boards are decent? I am not sure I could deal with clacking of the mechanical keys on the black widow.

I have owned a lot of boards (I'm heavy handed and ham fisted :P )
Lycosa to me has always stood out above the rest, although I have had some keyboards from Roccat and MS that have done the job admirably as well
Only boards I've never used have been Logitech, I was forced to play on a few over the years and I have always been less than impressed, although this may have changed for the better in recent times

BW is the only Razer board I would buy.
For everything else there is the G19.

I would consider the BW, if the key sound gets annoying I will just sell it :p

But I think I might just like it.

If you were closer I'd let you use mine :P
Oh by the way the bw's are on sale tomorrow at E, I'll be there nice and early lol
They are fantastic Kb's bud, they have a quality feel which I love.

O0o0o0o0o0. . . . Might need to buy one then :D

Thats if I can get there.

Whats the difference between the BW and the BW ultimate?

Shot!

Edit: Very interesting read. Not exactly making me burst out the door to buy one.

Sounds like the standard is better bang for buck, however the loss of back lit keys may just bother me.

I thought that's what you would say :D Honestly though the Ultimate is special mate, you feel special just using it.
Well worth it and to be honest there aren't very many decent mech keyboards available, only the Corsair K90 and the BW at the moment. with the K90 being a lot more pricey.

Joker I am going there as well :D

Awesome :D
