Unplug everything but the monitor and ram/cpu and see what happens [Also try reset bios]. If you can't even post and get into the bios then your MB is probably poked and it's a throw away.
Nah it's all a boot problem. So yeah like Monk said, just unplug all the extras like USB and sound, power button even if you have to. Use a screwdriver to start the computer
Could just be a faulty USB cable, or the chassis's ports are crap. How's your earthing on that PC?
You tried disabling the Option in the Bios that allows for USB Devices to Fast Boot the system ?
Xero beat me to it... I agree, disable USB in the BIOS, and USB boot, etc.
So you get a USB error BEFORE the BIOS? Strange...
Can you not bypass that, i.e. push a button to skip it, then disable it in the bios?
You may have a faulty motherboard on your hands...
Sounds like your bios is corrupted.Not sure what the fix would be, depends on the specific mobo.
