Intel cuts CPU prices

Thanks for the Info there TM damn R940 for an E7500 thats bloody marvellous i might actually consider on going to buy a new CPU this weekend after payday :p :D
 
Was hoping for a drop across i7. We'll have to see if there'll be a drop after i5 comes out. Won't be holding my breath tho.

If only. I haven't even seen a E7500 for R1100 let alone R940:(

Prices for the i7 Came down lekker!

Supplier had a sale on this week, I couldn't believe it!

i7 920 + Asus X58 Board + 3gig Kingston DDR3 Tripple channel = R4999 including vat!

Farking rediculous

im sure the price cuts will be a while before they hit here taking into consideration the recession and all that has come with that extra baggage but hell i reckon its gonna happen probably towards the end of the year and the start of next year :)

Lets hope so :) because i've got my eye on the E7500.
 
@ Maplassie, i couldn't agree more. it's seriously ridiculous.

I don't doubt the Intel Core i7 is great, maybe the i5 would be "managable"
Just get an E7400/E7500 and overclock it abit is what i would do :P
 
If I can get my Motherboard sold, I can get my upgrade going, allready have a buyer waiting for my CPU and old Screen!

Ofcourse you can't in the long run. I had Quad-Core for awhile, didn't really like it that much to be honest :/ But then again,maybe because i couldn't O/C it properly :P
