Jailbreaking (JB) weakens the security of your device considerabpy and you basically open yourself up to malware that could compromise your information. Any person that JB does not care about the persona information or identity protection. In laymans terms JB provides you access to the protected part of the operating system, which in turn gives whoever wrote the app you are installing also access to the same area. Since JB apps do not go through the rigorous application testing that Apple do on their apps before it is approved, you get into an Android situation where 75+ apps have already been identified that contains malware including dreamdroid. Since nothing is really for free in the hacking world, chances are that there already are JB apps that contain silent malicious code thst people just dont know about yet, until activated by the hackers. Add to this that there has been no anti-virus on Apple yet until the recent Virusbarrier (VB), the problem is enhanced. VB is an anti-virus, but not in the true sense as it just checks attachments. The are no OS anti-virus because Apple does not allow devs to access To the OS. If you really think about it, if all apps are rigorously tested by Apple for various things including malware and devs are limited to the sandbox area, then you do not need an AV that access the OS area.
