Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning - Camera (pc)

Since post not give rise to answer maybe thread will. Anyone with the pc version out there is the camera an issue as in the demo or is it fixed ?

Depends on what the issue with the camera in the demo was. :P

I'm playing with a gamepad, but my camera feels fine, aside from just stretching far out when a big enemy enters the field of view or when the last remaining enemy is far off screen.

Ah, so there is an issue.

Specifically the turning speed is too fast.

Couldn't really help you with that bro.. Playing the 360 version and I'm having very few issues, and you can adjust your look sensitivity in the options menu I would think ou could on pc anyway

Hmm, not sure. Using my 360 controller and I sometimes find the turning speed to slow. Haven't really tried without the controller.

However, I will say that I can't imagine playing this without a controller. It just feels natural, like the game is made for it. Either that, or I'm just starting to favor the controller in general.

i had to turn the dpi down on my mouse quite a bit to make it manageable, but this game plays so much better with a gamepad its scary

Yeah, the one time I tried using the M&K the camera went spinning, and my mouse is only set to 2000 dpi.

Either way, this game basically screams gamepad, and not in a bad way. Usually I dislike when games require a gamepad to be playable, but with Amalur it just feels so right. I'd probably stop playing entirely if something happened to my gamepad.

I reckon this game is very well suited for m&k. I haven't had any problems with it, so far at least and that is just under 30 hours in

So it's a broken adaptation then. At least I have 2x 360 controllers and a receiver...
