KS: Divinity: Original Sin by Larian Studios LLC

Yup, on 30 hours and uncovered 80% of first map but still have more than 10 quests to still do, and I'm not even sure if I activated all quests (I've read on other forums quests ive never seen in first map). Still so much fun and combat is awesome. I don't like turn based combat, but this has really swayed me and I can't picture playing this game any other way.

Anybody here keeping an eye out on "Pillars of Eternity "?

Lycan's gif is surprisingly mesmerizing.... took me a good minute before I remembered that I was here to post.

Anywaaaay.
Does anyone know if there's a way to clear unfinishable quests?

**SPOILER WARNING**
In the second area, Lucalla, the Fedrick quest got buggered.

I tracked his imp down and told the imp to return to his master.
Then got the bloodstone as requested.
By the time I returned to Fedrick, he was dead and the imp nowhere to be found.
However, the quest log shows that I have the blood stone and should return to him O_o
I tried resurrect spell, heal spell and even throwing the blood stone at him. No success.

Another bugger up.
I can't finish the immaculate initiation quest-line because I pick the lock to the prize instead of doing the puzzle ~le sigh~

**END SPOILER**

It was supposed to read "But of course."

After further analysis of the image, I have concluded that she crushed a fly between her cheeks.

I was thinking the same thing.

okay, so my question is this :

edit : Pillar of Eternity is currently for sale at $35 (pre-release) do you guys reckon it will release at a higher price when it hits steam? DOS was cheaper on Kickstarter than on final release, so wondering if this will follow suit...

sorry, i know its off topic, so to keep this post semi-topical, Eurogamer review is up and is excellent! 9/10

Well its only $40 released dlc is $10 I see. This could have easily been a $60 game but since its not call of duty...

sorry, my previous post was ambiguous. im cross-game-posting coz the ppl who like DOS will no doubt like PoE :)

i was asking about the views of the forum regarding Pillars of Eternity. Current "pre-release" price versus expected release price.

Same thing for Wasteland 2. Pre purchase on kickstarter is much cheaper than the price on STEAM.

I believe with Wasteland 2 they made the Early Access more expensive because they only wanted people who would actually help development by reporting bugs.

I recall them saying that the launch price will be significantly cheaper than Early Access.

Not sure about that, the reason I read was that they couldnt make the Early Access price on STEAM cheaper, or else it would be unfair to kickstarter guys who originally backed it for a the cheaper price.

holy shizer! kickstarter for Wasteland was $15!!! but on Steam its like $60 :(

this ties back to my other thread comment that I want to catch PROMISING kickstarters! Pillars of Eternity and DOS were both cheaper on KS. So whats the next upcoming GEM that we can buy early on ??

If you look at the tier rewards on their kickstarter page you will understand why the early access costs that much. I don't think people that paid $15 has early access.

I would HAPPILY pay $15 and skip early access! but alas, that ship has sailed :( and it sure as heck will not retail at $15 when its released

Massive new update. The change-log is over here, it's too long to embed.

Noteworthy improves include:
  • Ability to sort inventory by type
  • New AI personalities
  • Ability to use items in backpacks without having to take them out
  • Fixed crafting inconsistencies (strong sinew can now be used to make a bow string, that sort of thing)
  • Bug fixes
  • Five skillbars on the bottom of the screen instead of 3. Most people won't need this, but if you're like me and have a mage that has mastered 3 schools of magic, 3 bars wasn't enough for all the skills.
  • General optimizing and improvements

Now if only they would add those couple of skillbooks that are one time drops to vendors. I did a respec on my ranger and lost Barrage because you only find it once in the whole game. Vendors don't sell it.
