Ah, ok that is good. sweet deal then! wonder if you should raid0 them :O
Just plain mass storage... it has a lower power footprint than a standard PC, no need for an OS... less parts to break down and its optimised for sharing over my Wi-Fi network... streaming to PS3, Xbox 360, laptop and hopefully tablet
Ah, those BlackArmor NAS's are awesome. I got one of the 220's (baby brother of the 440) for my wife's work, and they work great. They also work as a Media server, and FTP server, and if you don't have a static IP, Seagate has a service you can sign up to, where you can access your files over the net. And you can create different users to different shares, so ex give a client web access to a specific share on your device.
Very cool
I use dropbox as well... but more for menial things like word docs and pictures... this will be for some serious HD Movies and Series![]()
