I downloaded it and updated it 4th of August and I'm guessing it was about 500mb download to update. Haven't played it since though so it could be bigger, there must have been updates since.

Bought the expansion, stopped playing before it got released, have not been back yet. Not sure why I do this but I waste money in the short term like this often. I always return to LOTRO though so one day it will pay off ;-).

LOTRO is a long term investment, I haven't had a game in a while well since BF3 was released. But I will always pop in and complete a quest or three! But it is a brilliant MMO

Agree with the above statement. Btw I play on the evernight server ( with cyrokrypto but hes a noob ) so if anybody wants to join me or something give me a shout, I can give you some uber armor and ingots.

I'm thinking of downloading LOTRO and signing up for an account. Seeing that there are a lot of people still playing it and that it is "free" now. The only thing that has been keeping me back is the big download. However, I'm thinking of giving it a go, until GW2 comes out.
