You haven't really been listening to the complaints, have you? The main issue seems to be that all the endings are just about the same thing with minor alterations, and that your choices throughout the game doesn't really influence the ending at all.
Yep, I've listened to the complaints. I've also made allowance for the fact that I have yet to finish the game.
I am, however, also taking cognizance of the fact that Bioware have stated you need a substantial amount of war resources to get the "perfect ending" (their words), in the multiple thousands range, also as I said in that post. And I'm again going to say that you have not had enough time to accumulate enough resources for that ending if you've finished the game so quickly.
To give you an idea, I'm on about 20 hours played, just started the second "chapter" I guess you could call it, after Tuchanka - my apologies if that's a spoiler for anyone - and I have around 1600 war resources. Which is way, way short of the figure that Bioware have stated you need for the "perfect ending".
Again, I've not finished the game, I don't know how big a difference the war resources make, and it could well be that I eat my words and also start throwing my toys out of the cot when I finish the game. But it's been stated repeatedly that they're important, and if your ending sucked because you didn't have them - and I know my friend Jim who finished in 12 hours didn't - then I'm again going to suggest you wait & see what's planned for the future, and maybe go back and finish the game after you've invested a little more time, done more of the side quests, and gathered more of the resources that you're told, by Bioware, that you need to not have a shit ending.
And gathering the resources might seem like a minor thing in terms of your gameplay, but in the context of a galaxy wide war? Logistics wins wars, having the right people, in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment. So perhaps it's a little more important than people are willing to credit.
