Mass Effect: Andromeda

Green Man Gaming keys are starting to go out! We will only be able to play from the 23rd I think but at least we can start downloading the game.

I'm luckily on Fibre. Was done in just over an hour...and btw, this game is EPIC.

Apparently they may still go out 48 hours before up until the 23rd but they haven't got control over when they'll receive the keys.

I doubt I will finish 3 before release, but I plan on finishing 3 before the new one. So it gives me time to download, since my connection means it will take at least 2 days.

I quickly tried out the game this morning. Firstly, it's Mass Effect! Yay!

It also looks ridiculously pretty. I'm running it on Ultra and it's on a constant 60fps. I haven't left the ship however and I can't wait to see what it looks like on a planet.

The character customisation is exceptionally poor. I always create a character that looks a certain way and I couldn't do it in Andromeda. In the end I just went with the default female Ryder because of how bad the customisation is.

So far the animations looked fine. I haven't seen any bad animations and everything looks alright.

I look forward to playing tonight. It's so silly to have to go to work. Unfortunately I can't take leave. :(

No fuck that. If it were me I would make a massive fuss. That's damn ridiculous. He's probably some lowly employee trying to hide his mistake from his supervisors.

With such a massive screw-up I would expect them to give you a key for free, at the very least.

Lol, you and me both. I so badly wanted to take leave for tomorrow. I came in at 7AM so I can leave a bit earlier today. Don't know how I'm going to make it through the day, tbh. :p

I hear this is the best thing to do, because of the wonky animations. I guess they animated things specifically around the default male and female characters.
