Musicians on MyGaming

I dreamed last night that I owned one of these..

Then when I woke up and I cried quietly into my pillow.

You'll cry harder when you dream about the TD30. Electronic perfection

Yeah those kits are incredible. Would quite happily settle for a 20 though. :p
Especially after owning a Td3 :puke:

Couldnt have said it better myself!

It gets to me, man.

They assume, since they've played a few shows, that they get to headline a show or get one of the better slots.

I played two/three times a month for 2 years before my bands started getting better slots.

OH GOD STAHP! You're making me miss my kit! Had to sell it for financial reasons. In hindsight, I should've sold a kidney instead.

NEVER sell your drums unless you have another kit. I've had my Pearl Export for 5 years now. Still going strong. I might sell it for a Masters MCX though.

So MyG, any drum cover requests? I'm bored as all hell.

Awesome thread! I've been playing Guitar for about 9 years now, brother is the drummer, so we always had a kit around also, so can play abit of drums too.

Old band has sort of fizzled away now with my brother moving overseas, so right now its just really me and the other guitarist / singer jamming some acoustic stuff.

Agreed great thread!

I started playing the Guitar last year, its way more difficult than i thought it would be... Im getting a hell of a lot better, but it is a long process... Going to lessons once a week now, and they going pretty well, think i would be really frustrated without some form of instruction...

Dude, just saw this on Facebook and came straight to this thread! Congrats!

You should try and get your hands on Rocksmith 2014.

It'll be a huge help to your playing and learning.

I've seen Rocksmith and wanted to give it a go, has anyone used it ? is it worth buying?

I have it and it's seriously awesome.

Just need an electric guitar and the 1/4" jack to usb cable.

It really does help you so much. Gets you used to different tunings, how your hand should be held, gets you used to knowing where to move your fingers without looking.

It makes learning guitar extremely fun. I used to take lessons and was self taught as well but I found it to be too tedious and stopped.

Got Rocksmith to get back into it and I'm so glad I did.

Not really looking at it for learning purposes, more just for fun really, I like the concept of it.

Guitar hero with a real guitar

It's extremely fun.

There's mini games kind of like a Space Invader vibe.

Alien waves come at you and you need to play certain chords and notes to kill them.

Even you play for fun, you'll start learning new things and it'll improve your playing.
