I'm on 39 I think, don't get much time to play, but I have to say the hardcore is fucking awesome. The matches just don't last long enough for my liking. Hoping and praying they decide to launch dedicated servers with full xp and perks. The p2p isn't that bad but I miss having servers.

So maybe it's not all it's cracked up to be? Just maybe it's not quite as perfect as you would have us believe?

I realise this might seem like a swipe aimed Joker, but it is aimed more at all the COD die hards who maintain there is nothing wrong with MW3. I think you have to be blind not to see it's faults. P2P play? Epic fail. Same engine and graphics for last what, 4 years? Fail. Same physics? Fail. Same configability so that one guys trumps another due to a text file rather than his actual skill? EPIC fail. The childlike, read Counter Strike, mentality of the majority of players? Fail.

Having said that, I'm not saying the BF series is perfect either. Not by any stretch of the imagination. But it is, in my opinion at least, a far better game than MW3 in all aspects.

I promise you this, that if there had been a new gen console out, specifically the Xbox, which was capable of far better graphics and physics and and and, that all the COD players would be bitching and whining just as loudly, if not louder than the PC players. If Activision had not released a new COD each year, maybe more of these die hards might have noticed just how far Bobby had stuck his, uhm, up their backsides. They might actually have gotten bored of the same repetitiveness of the game, the age of the game compared to others. Would you eat the same spaghetti bolegnaise night after night after night for dinner and actually pay more each time?No, you wouldn't, because you'd get bored of it.

And yes Joker, you may now neg rep me again if it makes you feel better... :D

What none of you seem to understand is that all Media and by extension that means Games, are subjective in value

No Xero you cant say that. If a game doesnt have brilliant graphics and a "new" engine then its bs and everyone who buys the game is retarded.
 
MW3 might very well have less bugs than BF3 at launch, but when they have tested it for years (MW2) that is kinda expected. At least BF3 are creating new engines and generally changing stuff, i don't mind the bugs as long as the product has promised something great in return.

That said I still want to play some MW3... it is supplement not a substitute in my gaming world.

ROFL, I did uninstall BF3 inadvertently one evening in an attemp to rid my PC of old apps and "miss" clicking the entry above Battlefield 3... That's the quickest I have seen 11Gb+ disappear bar a quick format. Spent the next 6 hours reinstalling/downloading BF3. Was angry at myself! :mad:

well they tried to copy cod on some maps.kinda saved the game imo.
