I love lyrically conceptual albums. I really do. All 5 of Coheed's albums tell a sci-fi story that begins with a mother/father who have to kill their own children (extreme circumstances), then it turns out they were lied to and didn't have to do it. One child is not at home when this happens and decides to eventually get revenge after some initial debating. The story then takes an incredibly surreal turn and becomes more and more intricate as it develops.

Have you read the comic that goes with the albums? I was blown away, its all written by Claudio and sketched by a pro comic artist. Every song on every album is all part of one huge story, its quite flippin genius!

@Bradbear: I have read it yeah. I haven't gotten my hands on the IKSOSE:3 comics or the Good Apollo graphic novel yet though :/
 
There are way too many awesome bands to list here, but my all time favourite will probably still be Carcass. Others include As I Lay Dying, We Butter the Bread with Butter and Soul Embraced.

Foo Fighters I would say is probably my number one band, I've always loved them. But there's just too much cool music out there to have a favourite band. For instance I only discovered this a few days ago and I already love this band!


I promise you you will get hooked on this band after this song!

Yeah for sure, I've got Underoaths new album with that drummer. In the DVD they say they all just clicked, and I think he's a great addition. Listening to Aarons new band, you can clearly see the difference in direction he wanted to go.
 
I listen to a lot of different bands and there are some awesome albums out there from almost all of them
But I'm fairly Into Cradle at this stage, somene mentioned themed albums, whoever that was, check out thier stuff starting
with Cruelty and the Beast and then the album this track is taken from
Godspeed on the Devils Thunder

oh ya, The Almost, like straight up pop rock I guess. I really like them too though.

Haha, I know man! So legit! :D Been jamming this in my car the whole day. They only have 2 albums so far though, but I'm keeping an eye on them for sure.

My second favorite album ever. Damnation and a Day is also an epic concept album.
