My New YouTube Show

Good first video the other guys already mentioned the things I wanted to say good luck for your next video, liked and subbed :)
 
In all honesty there are two paths you can take from here.

Path 1 is that you heed all constructive advice; and use it to construct a more balanced and accessible product. In essence making something that is both hip for the cool kids and interesting for the nerds :)

Path 2 is that you heed all constructive advice; and go as opposite to it as humanly possible. Basically going for the "So bad it's good factor" . Thus making yourself an object of ridicule...but having a far greater viewership. Narm charm will draw the initial large audience; and then be followed by a percentage of that staying behind.


I recommend that you do some research and see what would be more welcomed by the SA community.

Thank you so much for all the feedback guys! It's much appreciated and I have acknowledged everything you guys have been saying. The overall response has been positive, which is great!

In the meantime, I have to celebrate the looming D3 expansion, I have created this 5 min long video talking about my opinions, concerns, the future and what I like about Diablo 3. Give it a watch and let me know what you think (either here or in the YouTube comments)
 
I think once you start using a stand alone mic and get more settled into the role, you'll be sorted. I normally dislike this type of thing but yours was pretty decent. Good luck going forward man :)
 
I'll definitely have a watch when I get a chance. I remember following your blog for a bit, and I quite enjoyed your style of communicating.

I can't remember though, are you a dev for a living? Or was it graphic designer?

He should actually keep the shirt but have variations of it.. it could be his "thing".. almost like angry joe's superman obsession :D

Episode #2 is up! :)

Notes: Still working on finding that microphone. Reduced rocking back and forth. Now with background music. Tried a few new things this episode production wise - so it will look a bit different from EP1 (still finding my bearings). You can see me sweating my ass off in some clips (blame Durban weather)

 
Good show Martin. The sound is as always still you biggest problem. I think this episode was a bit worse as well. I had to turn down the volume heavily to watch the show. I also didn't like cutting the whole time almost mid sentence, and it happened quite frequently. I would like to see more continuity.

Other than that, some awesome content. Loved the Evolve segment, as it was the first time I saw anything about the game.

Dude, this episode was much better! Damn good job. If I'm overly critical, the only thing for me is the sound is bad. But since you're working on that...its all good.
 
Dude, cool channel! Just one suggestion from me, that noone else has mentioned. For this type of format, maybe some background music to give it some more atmosphere? :D
