[MyGame] Darksiders

So I got to Tiamat last night. Died twice (apoc mode doesnt let you "learn" boss scripted moves) and got annoyed at the semi-unskippable cutscene...will kill the bitch tonight :D

The selection/locking/throwing aspect is a bit unintuitive, at least on pc. Feels like i waste so much time selecting aim mode, then clicking lock mode then selecting them, all dodging the 4+ guys im trying to aim at.

Why do that when 3 scythe swipes does the job :D

I agree.

And since dark souls I'm more used to dodging behind than parrying, and the couple times i tried it on single enemies it was rather underwhelming :p

What I found works really well is to get the upgrade for the crossblade to bounce between enemies, then when in combat with more than one enemy simply start off by tossing the blade without lock on and follow it up with a sword combo. It make most smaller enemies stagger and adds more hits to your combos. :D

Tiamat is difficult! It took me a couple of tries before I could beat her. The next big boss isn't nearly as difficult.

YAS! I keep dying trying to 'finish' her off!

*EDIT*
Ding Dong, the bitch is dead! That took longer than I had expected, the jailer was an easier fight. Off to the next area!

So I only played like 20 minutes or so yesterday, had a very long day/evening of work. Did manage to kill Tiamat, get the heart and am now running around in chaos form. Right now I can't even recall what my mission is...I think I was a bit spaced out last night.

Oh well

Shortly after that, it's the drowned Pass, following that it's Anvils Ford.

I haven't had time to play yesterday and the day before I only played a little bit. I've also got the problem of being too tired.

We needs the weekends! I hope to finish Darksiders this weekend if all goes well. I think I'm about halfway in.

I was collecting swords (to give to the statues) under the Cathedral complex I think. Fought some dude called "The Jailer"

Nicely done Xiphan!

I'm also almost done. Ended up not playing Darksiders yesterday so I'm hoping to finish it tonight.

I like the fighting quite a bit and as soon as I realised it's not Dark Souls I started kicking ass. The fighting also gets easier as you progress with all the extra health and such that you get. But man, all those puzzles and things... I didn't like that. Especially towards the end.

Darksiders is the longest hack and slasher i've ever played. It's humongous.
Also never ending power ups and abilities. I remember there being so many.
I never finished it though, I got so horribly stuck looking for some stuff I needed near the end.
