[MyGame] Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

While it's true you can pick up decent gear. The best gear in the game is definitely stuff that's crafted. You can craft some pretty OP stuff.

I'm also making progress slowly. I am enjoying it when I play but I have a lot of other games that are keeping my away currently. Just want to get to level 20 then I'm gonna do both DLC 's.

Graphics crash when I try to play not sure if I'll be able to get through this one.

Plus the game doesn't particularly draw you in.

me too. while I was at it, I turned from a battlemage build to a proper, full, mage build. now I can summon a meteor storm
I did the same respec and I clear waves of creeps way faster than before.

I'm about 5 hours in and I have to admit that I feel the same as many of you here. The game is a bit bland and it feels like a bit of a chore to play it. It's strange because you can see that a lot of work went into the game.

I recently completed Dark Souls 2. There I couldn't stop playing the game. I wanted to see what's around each corner. It was fascinating and I loved every minute of it. (Well except this one boss fight but that's a different story altogether.)

KoA feels a lot like the Fable games. Yet the Fable games tried its best to make you like the characters. To make you feel. For some reason KoA doesn't pull it off. It's as if it knows what an rpg is and what the different parts of an rpg should be and then carefully puts it all together and forget to add soul.

I'll keep playing however. I know a lot of people like it so hopefully it'll grow on me.

.... and, after 24 hour of game time, I finally defeated
Spoiler: show
Tirnoch the Merciful,
with a summoned lightning storm, no less.

there's your problem right there

I have now reached lev 12, I died for the first time at the one big fight in the story quest - the one just after the windchimes...

So now decided to do the other part first then will go back to do that part.

I started crafting some OP Gear for my Level should be easier to power to the end, i'm worried I might run out of time so I'm trying to ignore stupid side quests do the main and maybe factions, going to fateweave and re-spec to hybrid with finesse

So how does stealing work in the game? I had a side quest where I had to steal a potion. So I made sure nobody could see me, stole the potion and suddenly everyone was attacking me and I ran away. Will I never be able to go back there again?

For the alchemist outside the castle? The same happened to me. I just went far away, played a bit more and fast travelled back and everyone calmed down.

Don't worry you've got lots of time. Until the end of January. :) However I'm also playing fast. Normally I listen to every bit of dialogue in an rpg but the conversations aren't the best. So I do side quests when I'm in the vicinity of one otherwise I do main story quests.

Cool thanks! Yes, it's the same place. :)

*Blink *Blink "checks OP"

Shit I thought we had to finish before Jan.

Stealing, you go into stealth and make sure nobody has a filled in eye above them, the item you want to steal will have a Percentage next to it which indicates the odds you will be seen.

Also pro Tip: If you have smoke bomb as a skill you can instantly become 100% stealthed
