MyGaming Memories - First Posts and Nostalgic trips

Looks like I was an early bloomer as well - member no 297. :p

I arrived here purely because of the split from MyBB. I used to irritate [MENTION=6]Keeper[/MENTION] there with my console rantings and the moment the new site was born I decided to move over. I never really posted that much (if at all) and only really became active a year or so ago.

I'll see if I can track down my first post and thread...

And with Wyvz, I remember when I moved down to Cape Town on my own. I didn't know a single person here, nor did I have any family in Cape Town. Almost the very first weekend I was alone here, she organised a meet at CBC. I arrived 1 hour earlier waiting for them. Then I saw a dude and a girl come sit at the table next to where I was seated. I honestly thought it was them, but I couldn't be sure. So I messaged her via the forum, and the moment she reached for her phone, I went over to introduce myself.

Found a much better community over here, and the grass truly was greener :P

Who remembers the MyGaming shop? I never ended up buying from there but I did check it out fairly often to see what specials they had on.

Yeah, bought Dragon Age 2 with the voucher they gave out. Never actually played it. :o

Got a free cap with it too.
