MyGaming wants to know: what is your favourite game of all time?

I have said this many times before.

Little Big Adventure 1 and 2.

Nothing comes close to these games they are pure genius.

I have to agree with this. I do however think you can consider Beyond Good and Evil to be a sort of spiritual successor to these games. It's the closest I've ever found.

Definitely can't give a single most favourite game the ones at the top of my list (in no particular order) would probably be:

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
God of War Series
GTA 3: San Andreas
Assassin's Creed Series
Pokemon Crystal

I draw a distinction between 'favourite' and 'best'. My favourite game of all time is Doom. It's not the best game I've ever played, but hands down my favourite.

For now, it's Assassin's Creed III with Company of Heroes 2 at a tie-in. I know not one of the two is released yet, but one can already tell much from all the trailers and having experience with the previous titles. Oh, and how could I forget Far Cry 3!

Rome total war. I wasted days on that game and yet I can still keep playing it.

After that its the Assassins Creed series.

The elder scrolls:Oblivion

I loved that game to no end,it was the first role playing game I played,so much fun seeing my char level up and learn new things and feeling a accomplished something when I complete that one hard quest that I failed so many times.

My favourite games of all time (by genre):
FPS: Far Cry 1
TPS: GTA: VC/SA
Sandbox: Minecraft
Strategy: early C&C series
MMORPG: Guild Wars 1
Story RPG: Planescape: Torment
Strategy RPG: Rage of Mages series.
Puzzle: Portal series
Turn-based: Silent Storm

SSX - Tricky (PSII) I have emotional ties with this game!
TW - Series (Total War)
GTA 3 - San Andreas (PSII)

These are the most memorable and have had the most impact on my gaming experiences.

Mine would have to be the Fallout series.

The first 2 I would spend days on end playing, although I never really got far, it kept me coming back.

Fallout3 is my favourite among those. Although its much, much easier than the point and click counterparts. I prefer FPS' in general, so when Fallout3 came along, it was a perfect mix for me. I think i'm on my 4th/5th playthrough now... so much still unexplored :)

My favourite games would probably have to be the Half Life series, especially Half Life 2: Episode 2, don't think I've been entertained more by a single game in my life.

Its weird, the only games that have truly-had-an-emotional-involving-effect on me are mostly older games. And that list is long, which I've purposelly kept short here.

Another World (out of this world)
Flashback
Baldurs Gate Series
Ultima Online

The ONLY modern game that comes CLOSE to these is Dark Souls. Atmosphere, lore, involvement, action, pain... epic.
