Wors, I was actually looking for you when we were about to form our guild. I have been busy with admin at the moment, but my man and a few mates have been playing EVERY day - we're going to have a few others join us soon as well. Perhaps you can join us until you find the kind of guild you're looking for or until server transfers are an option? We have Team Speak and, from what I hear, the guys are having fun. They just say that it's difficult doing pugs as noobs are always quitting dungeons right near the end. That's why it's better playing as a team and on Team Speak.

I have a level 52 cleric, 24 GF and 14 wizard, the worst is that all 3 have crafting over level 15, too much time put into them to just leave ;-(.

I dont think a merge will take too long to get to. Will have to wait and see.
 
Would you say that your 24 GF is smokin', hot or average ... ?

Juuust kidding! While discussing the fact that it sucks that the SA community are on different servers, one of our guys mentioned that he had spent Zen on Mindflayer (#wasn'tme). So, I think we'll be staying put until further notice.
 
Ok, I set up a channel for us south africans, called it sag. To join type /channel_join sag. It spans servers so you folks on Dragon can use it to talk to us too. In fact, if you are playing STO or Champions you can use it too ;-)

To talk in it, just type /sag once you have joined it. This way we can chat, no matter which guild or server we are on.
 
I gotta say the Mad Dragon boss fight is cheap and infuriating. I think we fought him a least 5 or 6 times and we keep getting destroyed by the ridiculous number of adds. :mad:
 
As in all "boss" fights, there is a "trick" to it. Tank basically solos the dragon, making him breath the other way, rogue does DPS on the dragon, wizard kills adds which are attacking the cleric. Long ass fight, very expensive with potions (at least the cleric) but doable, as long as the wizards know that they only hit the dragon if there is nothing else to control/kill.
 
Yeah major issues for Perfect World. Someone figured a loophole on their AH and made billions with the exploit, people did it on all the servers, not where is a totally screwed economy on the servers, hence the downtime while they track the culprits and roll them back/delete them.

PW has stated that there will be NO server whipes/character whipes because of this for everyone, they are trying to lock it down to the affected accounts.

Lets hope.

Nah don't need to worry about phishing, you need to create an account there and they give you a key, which you redeem on Perfect world's site.

EDIT: Applied the key i got there on my account, got some type of pack of goodies, so it is legit.

ouch, wonder whether i played in this window:

we implemented a necessary rollback of our servers to 5:20 AM PDT the morning of May 19, 2013. This means that characters have been reverted to the state they were in at that time, pre-exploit damage. That includes items, level, experience, etc.

I lost all the progress I made yesterday. :(

About 4 levels on myself and 5 levels on companion, who I now don't even own yet.

I only played for about an hour yesterday, so making up that time was quite easy.

So glad I didn't invest too much time in it -- phew!
 
Well I got rolled back 3 levels, so that's hours of playing and a bunch of items lost. So I'll be taking a break from this game for a bit methinks.
