New Carmageddon in development?

Azi I assume that you're also a really big fan of Carmageddon?? :D

I really can't wait to find out what is coming out!!!! This is soooo exhilirating :)

This put's whatever it will be on 1 June, Just before E3, so probably an announcement of a sequel, with a demo coming up at E3. I hope it is a sequel :-)

Max Damage rides again!

loved the originals(although it was back in the day when I was young and cheated in games), hope it gets done correctly. As much as love Twisted Metal I'm not sure the new one is going to be the same and I have the same fears for Carmageddon.

Nice might try the new version of carmaggedon, since I never got the chance to try old one

"IF" they make a new Carmageddon I will be very skeptical. It's not easy to resurrect classic games, and my main concern is that gaming, and people, have evolved. (well some of us lol) It becomes harder and harder to entertain these days. Sometimes I just like to leave nostalgia in it's place. It's better that way.

i dont think i ever finish a race by cross the line 1st ... it was always better to kill the other drivers :D

Wasn't that the way you were supposed to do it? :p

I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much with this one. Been dissapointed too much these days.

:confused:Isn't there a Carma total conversion ongoing somewhere on the internet? I remember getting excited over something like this in the past year or so..

oh that's a golden oldie!!!

A green oldie if you happened to be unfortunate enough to be in one the countries that censored the game

In many countries (including Germany and, for a short time, the UK), the first release of the game was censored. They contained zombies with green blood or robots with black oil instead of people, as running over the non-human figures was considered more acceptable by their respective ratings boards. In the UK, SCi wanted to gain publicity for the game by submitting it to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) to get an 18 rating, even though this was not necessary as the game contained no video footage. This backfired when the BBFC refused to certify the game unless all blood and gore was removed. After 10 months of appeal, the BBFC certified the original version.[2]

In some countries, the game was banned completely, including Brazil.[3] In Portugal and Australia the game was passed completely uncut with an +18 and MA15+ rating, respectively.[4]
