Hey guys, I was hoping for some help in deciding/finding a new MMO, it doesn't necessarily have to be a RPG...
My biggest issues right now with deciding on online games is if it's responsive/reliable to play on a connection from SA, which is why just Googling it doesn't really help.
I'm really into PvP, but if it's a fun reasonably polished MMO, I'll play it regardless.
What I've tried:
WoW - Since early WotlK days, recently got over it, requiring about 20-30 hours a week to keep up with Raid Finder, Dailies, Arenas, RBGs.... Horribly unbalanced PvP too
I still love it but I've decided to find something else that doesn't demand that much time just to 'keep up' with the game.... Did I mention the unbalanced PvP?
GW2 - Simply lost interest quickly (< level 35), zero gear progression for PvP and for some reason I just lost the drive to play despite following the game intently for 3 years prior to release, I guess you could say it felt like too 'casual' an MMO
Planetside 2 - REALLY fun, but constantly due die to lag spikes, not to mention the fact that it RAPES my PC on low setting in big battles
LotrO - Non-existant PvP, combat felt very unresponsive (it seemed like it was designed that way rather than it being due to latency alone) which ultimately caused me to give up (I would've stomached no PvP simply 'cause its Lord of the Rings)
Aion - Felt more grindy than leveling a Paladin pre-Cataclysm and lost interest early
Basically: I don't mind F2P/Subscriptions, I'm just looking for a fun MMO that I can play comfortably with SA latency, from GW2 I guess I could say an end game would probably be a must (if I have to level). I'm thinking of returning to LotrO, just at the time it felt unpolished and delayed (about mid- 2011 i think).
It's a lengthy post, but I'd really appreciate some help
