Wonder how the Medic and Spellslinger plays like, tested them abit at the start, but would like to know how are they around level 20 - 30 and engame.
 
Got the beta busy downloading at home, hopefully will give it a go this weekend.

I feel like I need to get into another MMO properly
 
Despite my self-block against playing a beta, I ran around for 2 hours on my level 10 medic, JUST taking on veteran mobs to see if I could do it and practicing combos, avoidance etc.

I didnt even notice the time until I had to leave. The combat in this game is so engrossing and really grabs me.

20 days.
 
This beta sucks. One "oh hey whats that" moment and two hours later your realize you played more than you wanted to.

After playing the warrior with friends for 2 hours I stopped, forever. It is incredibly annoying to spam an ability over and over again. My fingers were telling me to give up.

You can set your controls to press and hold, this way you don't have to tap tap tap tap tap. It annoyed me on spellslinger also.
 
Its weird but i'm okay with the tapping. Its the ability sounds that puts me off. I might go with spellslinger. Tried everything else and find only the warrior/spellslinger fun. Also joined a guild on EU PvE Dominion created by a bunch of like minded people.
 
I might raid, but looking at that, latency is going to be even more of a concern than it was in FFXIV. Will see.

3-5 hours for an average raid? Who has that kind of time? Certainly not me ;-P

Still remember phoning my guild leader a long time ago on the eve of my second kid's arrival and telling him that I cant spend 4 hours at night playing anymore.

Last hard core raiding I saw.

Yeah, the name reservation fiasco. I went to sleep and reserved something other than what I wanted originally.
